How to Setup the Appointment Management System

This guide will walk you through the steps to set up your business's appointment system so that your customers can start booking with you.

Enable the Appointment Feature

  1. In the Navigation menu  (which only appears for pro/business users), select "Appointments (beta)"

  2. If the feature is currently disabled, check the "Enable Appointment Management" option and click "Save Changes"

  3. The feature is now enabled and you are presented with the configuration screen

Configure the Business Settings

On the settings screen, enter your preferred values for all the options.


  1. Slot Duration: This is the shortest possible time an appointment can take. We recommend nothing less than 30 minutes

  2. Lead Time: Usual start time of the business (you can fine-tune this in another section if you work irregular hours). Enter in "HH:MM:SS" format.

  3. Finish Time: Time when you finish working. Enter in "HH:MM:SS" format.

  4. Appointment Buffer Time: The time between the first appointment of the day and the time you open.

  5. Default Reschedule Limit: The number of times a client can reschedule a single booking. You can set this at an individual service level


Click "Save Changes" after entering your preferred values to apply them.

Add Your Working Days & Hours

Working hours are required to make your services available for booking.

  1. From the navigation menu, click "Manage Team (beta)." The Team Members page will then appear.

  2. Click the pencil icon. The Staff Profile page appears with details about the staff member.

  3. For each section, you can edit or add values as you'd like. 

    1. Personal Information: Name and email address

    2. Appointment Information: Similar to the business settings, this gives staff-level control of your booking preferences as your team grows

    3. Days Off: Equivalent to vacation days. Specific dates when the staff member is not available for booking

    4. Working Hours: Days and times the staff member is available for booking

    5. Services Offered: Services the staff member offers. More on this section later

  4. Add the necessary information and save your changes

Add Services and Pricing

  1. From the Navigation Menu, click "Services & Pricing". Alternatively, click the plus sign for the "Services Offered" section if on the Staff Profile page. 

  2. The Services & Pricing page appears. Click "Add a Service/Product". The "Add A New Service" dialogue appears.

  3. Enter the details about your services including name, duration, price type, price and down payment.

  4. Click "Save New" to add the service to the list

Congratulations! Your appointment system is now active and customers can start booking on your page. 

NOTE: Notifications for new bookings are sent via the email address set for the business.
